A moving-on anthem at its finest, Sofia Carson releases another single presumably off her upcoming unnamed debut album. A hypnotic beat with meaningful lyrics, ‘Guess I’m A Liar’ is about being in a somewhat toxic relationship, where the singer believed in ‘the dream’ of the relationship and realized the lies that she had believed. The singer then realizes that the entire romance was an illusion and that when the significant other was not there, she was much happier. The song’s significant meaning is blooming consciousness and the realization that their other does not really make them happy, and the meaning could not be clearer in the beat-driven pre-chorus and chorus. The fact that the singer turned out to be a liar in the vows she had made about their ‘forever’ does not deter her and she accepts and they no longer are compatible.
