The song ‘20 10 20’ was released by Burna Boy on the 29th of October, 2020. This was nine days after the Nigerian Armed Forces shot into a crowd peaceful protesters in Lekki, Lagos State. The date of the bloody event is used as the song title (i.e 20th of October, 2020).
On the song Burna Boy shows his displeasure and pain towards such act, he condemned it by directing his message to the Nigerian President, the Governor of Lagos State, a political godfather in Lagos State 🤐, the politicians, the Nigerian Armed Forces and the Nigerian Government in general. He also touched other challenges the nation has been facing (e.g. bad leadership (&money embezzlement), unemployment etc.)
