24kGoldn recruits fellow XXL Freshman DaBaby for “Coco,” the second single from 24kGoldn’s debut studio album El Dorado. The song is named after Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel, founder of the French fashion house Chanel.

The song follows 24kGoldn’s chart-topping single, “Mood” and shares a similar structure with the hit, as the upbeat instrumental plays under the lyrics of a dysfunctional relationship.

“Coco” was first previewed in late October 2020 during a GrubHub sponsored “Sound Bites” performance. 24kGoldn would later preview the song again on November 17th, 2020 during an Instagram Livestream. The song also featured a new verse that was not previously previewed.

Nearly two weeks subsequent to the tracks release, on December 17, 2020, a Cole Bennett-directed music video for the track was released.
