After a year long break, Bobert Shane returned to releasing music with this song. It’s a live vocal track taken from a small virtual concert he held just days prior to the track’s initial release. He stated in the virtual concert there will be no studio release of the song, rather just the raw vocals and his guitar. Of course, the track that is released is hitched with a small amount of backing vocals to add depth to the song and leaves out the bridge, which was played at the virtual concert, a part now considered an unreleased version of the song. On Twitter, just a day before release, Bobert Shane announced that the track would in no means be perfect, since he wanted the connection with his fans to be vulnerable, something he’s been focusing on with the last of his many releases since 2019.
