BRS Kash, DaBaby, and City Girls unite on the remix of Kash’s debut single, “Throat Baby (Go Baby),” which was released on July 24, 2020. Both versions of the song are on his debut mixtape, Kash Only.

On January 14, 2021, Kash posted a countdown for the remix on his Instagram story which JT from the City Girls reposted. A few hours later, Kash announced the mixtape and confirmed the remix. He posted a picture of the other artists on Twitter the following day, January 15, 2021.

The official music video for the remix premiered one day after its release and on the same day that the mixtape was released, January 22, 2021.
