“Re-Route” is the first official release from Brooklyn rapper Rowdy Rebel since his release from his seven year prison sentence on December 16, 2020.

This track was first teased on Rowdy’s Instagram story on the night of his release from prison. Co-author of the song, Funkmaster Flex, a well-known New York radio host and DJ, also previewed the song multiple times during his radio show on Hot 97.
