“DESPERADOS” is a single from Miles, released on December 18, 2020. This serves as the official follow-up song to the breakout single, “WHAT IN TARNATION.” The song depicts Miles of living the lifestyle of women and exotic vehicles, while also living the cowboy lifestyle.

The song was first previewed on Miles' Instagram page on December 4, 2020, where he had teased the chorus of the song, along with a caption saying quote:

I NEED Y’ALL TO GO ABSOLUTELY PSYCHOTIC IN THESE COMMENTS SO I KNOW YOU’RE READY FOR THIS ONE 🤠🤠

Miles shared another snippet of the song on December 16, 2020. On the same post, he announced that the song would be set for a December 18 release date.

The single ultimately ended up becoming a huge success, leading Miles to get a record deal with Elektra Records, marking this his debut major-label single. The song also ending up being on Fortnite’s Beat Box Radio Station.
