Alexander 23 breaks every Christmas stereotype with his sad Christmas ballad, “Ain’t Christmas”. The song is about a December breakup and having to come to terms with the fact that that person won’t be there to experience the holidays with you.

Alexander posted a demo of this song to YouTube on December 23, 2020. He claimed to have only written the song “a couple nights” before posting the video, therefore it would not have been possible to officially release it in time for Christmas that year.

The track was finally released almost two years later as a duet with Laufey, best known for her songs “Let You Break My Heart Again” and “Valentine”.
