The track was initally previewed on January 13, 2021, via SoFaygo’s Instagram and Twitter accounts, where he re-uploaded a video from song-sharing social media platform Triller. He previewed the record again on February 14, 2021 via his community Discord server.

Faygo performed “Let’s Lose Our Minds” for the first time on July 17 at The Loft in Atlanta.

The track finally saw an official release on September 1, 2021 accompanied by its music video.

“Let’s Lose Our Minds” serves as the promotional single for his debut major-label album, Pink Heartz.
