At nearly-eight minutes long, this song is something of an outlier in the otherwise short and snappy world of ska-punk. Dicky Barrett calls the song “a love letter to ska music and the people who make ska music.” As such, it features numerous guests from assorted ska and ska-adjacent bands as well as some collaborators from hardcore and punk bands that the BossTones have played with over the years. Most prominently featured vocally are Angelo Moore (AKA Dr. Madd Vibes) of Fishbone, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, and Tim Armstrong of Rancid and Operation Ivy fame (among others, also notably one of the producers for the album). A full list of collaborators can be seen in the “Featuring” metadata field under the artist on this page.

This was the first single from a then-forthcoming new full-length album, later revealed to be When God Was Great.

Concurrent with the release of this song, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones announced that they had joined Tim Armstrong-owned Epitaph imprint Hellcat records.
