“Creature of Mine” is the second track from Billie Marten’s Billie describes the song on BBC Radio 1 as a “post apocalyptic” situation where the “earth is dying” and you get to pick one person to leave Earth with.

She says that the reason this album is so different from her older music is due to a drunken purchase of a bass, requiring her to make that her new instrument of choice. In being forced to abandon her “tentative” acoustic sound, she birthed Flora Fauna. She describes the rest of the (currently unreleased) album as more similar to Garden of Eden with a more positive perspective and her own commentary on the world peppered in.
