The song peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100, #24 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, topped Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart and topped Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart for 2 weeks in February of 1988.
