“Politics” serves as the introduction to CJ’s debut EP Loyalty Over Royalty. In this song, CJ raps about him and his boys robbing, making money, women, designer clothes, and his success in a catchy drill beat.

Although the original beat was produced by fellow producer, Pxcoyo, on streaming services, the song’s production includes additional production by both 1500 or Nothin' and The Loud Pack.

The song was first previewed on CJ’s live performance on YouTube, 15 minutes before the EP dropped. It was released and received a music video on February 19, 2021.
