“Beatbox Freestyle” is DaBaby’s take on SpotEmGottem’s viral April 2020 single “Beat Box”—a song most known for its Pooh Shiesty-assisted remix “Beat Box 2”.

The freestyle was first teased with a one-minute snippet posted on DaBaby’s Instagram on 02/18/2021. The music video would be released a day after.

A week after the freestyle’s release–and its virality–SpotEmGottem made DaBaby’s freestyle an official remix of his song, titling it “Beat Box 3.”
