Daði Freyr was set to represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song “Think About Things,” a song about his daughter.
Following the cancellation of the contest due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Daði and his band were internally selected to represent Iceland again in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The song is written about his wife, Árný Fjóla, with whom he just had their 10 year anniversary. She’s also a member of Gagnamagnið.
