“Coin” is a playful and funky R&B song where IU becomes a full-on gambler: “I can’t die, I’m all-in, all-in,” the South Korean soloist delivers a catchy chorus. In the gambling-themed music video of the song, award-winning South Korean actor Kim Yoon Seok makes a cameo and challenges IU in a thrilling game of poker where both players’ hands are tied together.

The appearance could be a homage to Kim Yoon Seok’s iconic role in the 2006 crime comedy film, Tazza: The High Rollers. IU spoke on working with the renowned actor in an April 2021 episode of IU TV:

I’ve never been so nervous shooting a music video. It’s the first time I’ve gotten so nervous. Yoon Seok made me feel very comfortable. But I still feel nervous. He’s so sweet.
