I wrote Born on a Windy Day with Justin Ebach and Steven Dales Jones, and produced it with
Luke Laird. I like to think of it as my driving down the PCH, hand out the window song. I’m a
free spirit, and while I embrace that in a lot of ways, in others, I can get self conscious when it
comes to relationships. I tend to fall for someone and then sprint the other direction as soon as
they get too close. This song is my permission to accept all parts of me as they are, and I hope
that it empowers anybody who listens to it to get in their car, roll the windows down, turn the
volume up and do the same.
