“WE (Warm Embrace)” was initially previewed in 2021, with snippets circulating online. Chris officially announced and teased the single via Instagram on March 15, stating:

APRIL 1st 👀❤️ (NO JOKE) I didn’t come to play.. I CAME TO STAY. Is this the BREEZY you’ve been waiting for?

Chris shared the first 56 seconds of the track via Instagram on March 29th confirming a summer release date for Breezy, later deleting the post.
