Am I the Only One

Am I the Only One

Aaron Lewis

The single “Am I the Only One” is a conservative anthem released just in time for 4th of July weekend. Lewis dedicated this debut single to “all the patriots.” “Am I the Only One” was debuted in March at a solo concert at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas, but was available on all platforms on July 2.

As a hardcore conservative, politics come up often at his shows. People either love it or hate it, but that is exactly how Lewis wants it to be. Lewis has always been very vocal about his conservative political views and this song serves a reminder of what Lewis stands for.

Lewis’s single focuses on his perspective of what has been happening in the United States, including protests and famous monuments being removed. Lewis is known for singing in a low and slow manner, and speaks from a place of raw emotion and even a bit of desperation. This single does just that and really is a “patriotic anthem.”
