This rendition of “Bet On It”—originally from the Disney Channel movie High School Musical 2—is featured in season two, episode one of the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. It is sung by the character Ricky, played by Joshua Bassett.

In the episode, Ricky learns the song in anticipation that High School Musical 2 would be chosen as the theme for his school’s upcoming spring musical. He performs it for his best friend, Big Red, and recreates some of its elaborate choreography from the movie.
