On the 17th of May 2021, Headie One tweeted out a teaser for his upcoming Daily Duppy with GRM Daily. He showed the unique backdrop of yellow and black roses – lining up with his fondness of rose gold – and the Instagram DM which confirmed the freestyle was shot on the 13th of May.

Headie teams up with heavy collaborator M1OnTheBeat yet again and brings forth his unique flow and cadence as he delivers a sombre threat to his opp’s, speaks on his old-school days in OT, whilst sparing time to throw out football puns.

Only coming up to 2 minutes and 8 seconds, Headie’s Daily Duppy was one of the shortest ever made – acting as a prelude to his upcoming summer single “Pound Signs”. The end of the video displayed the message:
