She searches for a way to make love last, but somehow it always seems to slip away from her, with this particular lover seeking her love, but then rejecting her once he had it. Regardless of all that, she still harbors a flame for him.

A duet version of the song was released featuring Sting, as the third and final single from the album in 2006.
