“Daylight” is the second single for Vory’s debut album, Lost Souls.

The track was first intended to appear on Kanye West’s August 2021 album, Donda, after appearing on a couple of the early tracklists shared and a demo being played at the first listening party for the album in Las Vegas on July 18, 2021.

Vory later assured fans that anticipated the track on Instagram that it would land on his then-upcoming project. On January 18, 2022, this was confirmed when Vory revealed the tracklist for the album.
