“Babe” is a song Taylor Swift wrote with Pat Monahan of Train while working on her 2012 album, Red. The track, which fans believe is about actor Jake Gyllenhaal, finds Taylor looking back on a failed relationship. She gave the song to Sugarland in 2018 before recording her own rendition for Red (Taylor’s Version).
