Nate Reuss, best known as the frontman of the indie pop band Fun., began his solo career with the release of this first single called “Nothing Without Love“, which debuted after the official announcement of the fun.’s hiatus.

“Nothing Without Love” premiered during iHeart Music Summit and was the first glimpse of Ruess’ debut solo album, Grand Romantic. According to Ruess, he originally wrote the song for fun., but felt inspired by his then-new romance with Charlotte Ronson to strike out on his own and use it as the beginning of a solo project.
