According to Ben Elkins of ELEL, “40 Watt is a big loud dance song about dancing with one other person in a little bitty house.‘ The song was independently released online in 2014 but was later included on the band’s 2015 self-titled EP (Mom + Pop Music). The band appears (as themselves) performing “40 Watt” in the 2016 feature film “Don’t Think Twice”.
