“Winter” is the first track on Bayside’s ‘Acoustic’ EP which was released on February 28, 2006. The release was in memory of their former drummer John “Beatz” Holohan who died when the bands' tour van crashed while they were on their way to a show in Salt Lake City.
This is the longest track on the project and it revolves around the death of Holohan and how the band members should move on from it. The song had never been performed live until the “21 Years of Really Bad Luck” tour in 2021.
