This love letter to lean occasionally changes back and forth from from a “four on the floor” drum pattern to an airy, ambient broken beat. The instrumental fluctuates between the etherial chorus and the aggressive verses by building and relieving tension. The sound is deep and evocative of both the slowed-down consciousness provided by syrup, and the allusions to space travel throughout the lyrics.

The threefold repetition of lyrics is reminiscent of southern rap– especially Houston screw music popularized by UGK, Swishahouse, Mike Jones, and others.
