Usher cries out to his woman who left him due to his cheating regretting his past decisions of infidelity. Notably, a remix to this song replaces this song on the later reissues of this album featuring New York Rapper Jadakiss.

Throwback was initially meant for Dr. Dre’s legendary unreleased album “ Detox”. With the plan for the song to be Dr. Dre discussing the state of Hip Hop & his retirement. Ultimately, The Dr. Dre version of the song was never released & was given to Usher & finished at the last minute, a day before the album had to be turned in.

JAY-Z was supposed to record for this song but couldn’t make it in time due to scheduling conflicts. Jadakiss was then chosen to feature, however, he declined as he had to finish his album “Kiss Of Death”. But was featured on the remix
