“Doughnut” is a ballad-pop influenced track that heart-warms the viewer with a little bit of love that can feel like a never ending cycle, as if it’s going round and round like a donut. This is TWICE’s 9th Japanese release.

Interestingly, this counts as TWICE’s second release to be Christmas themed, ever since their 2017 winter, Christmas track, “Merry & Happy” and “Knock Knock”. The song is also the title track of their single-album, Doughnut.

The music video showcases a winter and warming place where not only the girls sit down in their tables eating dinner near a fire place, but also walk through circles like a donut through a two-pathway wall.
