Taking Back Sunday shared with Consquence that a member of the band started playing the opening chords of Weezer’s 1994 song “My Name Is Jonas” at soundcheck one show. The band all joined in pretty easily and sounded natural. Taking Back Sunday started to incorporate their cover during their shows and eventually recorded it in a studio.

Taking Back Sunday’s “My Name Is Jonas” cover was released in October 2021 in celebration of Photo Finish Record’s 15th anniversary.
