“Bad Sister” by Roxanne Shanté is a fast paced hip hop track that embodies the outspoken “take no shit” attitude that Shanté is known for. When confronted by three girls in the Westies gang, Roxanne Shanté proves to be a worthy match and easily takes them down on the stage. This track is a reflection of Shanté’s talent for impromptu rap battles. Unfortunately this recorded album was not as successful as her live performance career had proved.
