“ByMySelf” was originally intended to release on February 25, 2022 as the third single from Ty’s debut album Beautiful Michi Girls.

The song was recorded in Atlanta the morning after the release of his deluxe tape Virtual World 2 on October 21, 2021. The making of the song is documented in a studio vlog.

Due to sample clearance issues, Ty decided to release the track exclusively on SoundCloud and YouTube on April 12, 2022.
