“Freedom (Theme from Panther)” was a single released from the soundtrack of the 1995 motion picture Panther. Over 60 female African-American R&B and hip-hop artists met after the American Music Awards to record the song and film the music video.

The single also included a rap-only version with verses by Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Yo-Yo and others.
