A Little Piece Of Heaven is the 9th track of the band’s self titled fourth album. The idea for the song’s storyline, and music video came to the band’s drummer (The Rev) in a dream. This prompted him to write the lyrics about the dream

The bizarre storyline has been subject to a lot of criticism. First, a man murders his girlfriend because he loves her to death and is extremely scared of losing her. He allowed his fear to overcome him. He describes his murder and justifies it. Then he eats parts of her and rapes her dead body. Then the girl’s soul comes back from the dead for vengeance: she kills the boy and eats his heart, too. He soon understands what a terrible mistake he has made and asks his girlfriend for a second chance, which, after he has begged for a while, she grants him. They get married and start killing others.
