Phantom Regret is a poem spoken by Jim Carrey featuring background vocals by The Weeknd.

The meaning of this poem is of self reflection with the voice of one’s soul. As a Soul inhabits a body, it overtime, with the many experiences it partakes in throughout the joined one’s lifetime, it is with this message, that the Soul is telling of what’s to come after the experience is over and advice to come to terms and find peace with the things that one has once regretted doing when they were alive, and to take responsibility for the choices they made. That It is by your own inability to let go in which you will never find the heaven you create within yourself. It’s only by your own permission to accept yourself fully and it’s your own belief in if you deserve to find heaven or see it. You decide if you wish to continue to torture punish and damn yourself instead of realizing that you choose these things instead of choosing to accept that they cannot be changed and believe you are deserving of the heaven within us all. You’re your own decider on when or if you deserve the heaven that you already are. That until you see yourself as a divine being capable of anything and perfect in all ways, you will continue to drift the void until you become aware of your truth and accepting of what you are entirely. Dance to your own song and tune into what makes you feel the most alive and don’t stop the song that resonates with your truest self and soul. Unconditional love, practicing understanding and being accepting of every and all possibilities and outcomes is the truest nature of the divine self.
