“DMFU” is the lead single from Ella Mai’s sophomore album, Heart On My Sleeve. The song was first announced via the singer’s social media accounts on January 24, 2022, and subsequently released on January 28.

The elegant R&B track is Mai’s first solo single since “Not Another Love Song,” released in October 2020.
