“27 Jennifers” is the only song which bridged the divide between Doughty’s early solo career and his signing with Dave Matthews’s ATO Records. Having appeared in an earlier form on the self-released EP Rockity Roll, it was re-recorded and served as a single for the album Golden Delicious.
