CHAOS was produced by WZRD BLD, the first time he and Hollywood Undead collaborated, in a YouTube livestream J-Dog said that WZRD BLD wanted to make this the heaviest song HU has ever done, “he almost wanted to make it offensive”, “didn’t care if people like it or not”.

Johnny 3 Tears had a take on what the song meant. In an article posted on Loudwire Johnny said, “‘CHAOS’ is about getting to the end of the road, thinking you can finally rest, and realizing it’s not only more chaos, but that’s all there is ever gonna be. No rest for the wicked.”

It’s was also a plan for this song, and the album in general to feature Funny Man excessively, after he was absent from pretty much the entirety of HU’s previous album. This decision seems to be liked by the fans as many say Funny had the best verse in the song.

CHAOS is the first single released from Hollywood Undead’s 8th studio album, Hotel Kalifornia.
