“A Beautiful World” is the title track to singer/songerwriter/multi-instrumentalist’s Robin Thicke’s debut album, A Beautiful World (which was originally titled, Cherry Blue Skies). In this song, Thicke takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to musing about the world’s problems, as is the case with the rest of the songs on the eclectic A Beautiful World. This humorous approach to songwriting would soon take a back seat for a more serious writing style on his sophomore album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke, which is more straight-ahead R&B.
