“Ball in Peace” is dedicated to NAV’s late friend, DJ and producer jayxxclusive3 who died on February 6, 2022, after escaping his automobile while being pulled over by police and falling over roofs till he died.

Since February 2022, a few excerpts of the song have been circulating. Through an Instagram post, NAV confirmed that the song would feature on Demons Protected by Angels and that he produced it on July 30, 2022.
