On “I Hate YoungBoy,” YoungBoy Never Broke Again goes on the offensive against Lil Durk and many of those affiliated with him, from Apple Music to Gucci Mane.

The track is a same-day response to Durk’s “AHHH HA,” which features disses at YoungBoy, his child’s mother, and his 4K Trey crew. The escalating beef between the two artists largely stems from the death of Durk’s label signee and close friend, King Von, on November 6th of 2020. Von was killed after an altercation with Quando Rondo (a signee to YoungBoy’s Never Broke Again label) and Quando’s friend Lul Timm led to shots being fired.

YoungBoy calls out Durk directly and asserts that he is not afraid of any threats or attempts against his life. He tells those who don’t support him fully to pick a side of the beef and live with the consequences of their decision or indecision.
