“DEAD TO SIN ‘’ is a hype song based on the Bible verse Romans 6:11. The hook by A3 shows how God will provide blessings and protection when we die to ourselves and sin. “Born again” is also a key part of the song, which ties into dying to sin. Once we die to our sin we’re alive in Christ. This song is meant to encourage others to follow God, not our flesh. I purposely released it a few days before Easter due to a line in the song that goes “He gon’ come back greater than before”, referring to Christ not only resurrecting but His promise to return again. Overall it’s a song to hype people up to die to their sin and celebrate how God is faithful especially when we rely on Him.
