Track 12 of Octavian’s debut album “Alpha”; Loyal begins as a sombre ballad detailing the emotions felt during the aftermath of Octavian’s controversial break up with his then girlfriend & the promises made.
Before being persuaded by Rocko Smiles; Octavian’s alter ego to switch up the tone for the second half making the track end on an upbeat tone in bravado of the track’s first half.
Similar interactions between both characters under very similar circumstances can be heard on Octavian’s second mixtape “ENDORPHINS” on tracks 10 “Walking Alone” and 11 “My Head” with Rocko Smiles appearing to dismiss the emotional moments with a more stoic position on the situations.
