Hope You Don’t Mind

Hope You Don’t Mind

360 (Ft. N'fa)

The 5th single of his sophomore album Falling & Flying, 360’s “Hope You Don’t Mind” is one of his “favourite songs [he’d] ever written” with it “easily [being] one of the realest and deepest”.

Upon releasing the music video he said “[now I’m] in a very good state of mind. I wrote this when I was in a very dark head space. [Writing raps about how I’m feeling is] like therapy for me. If I have any issues going on in my life this is how I deal with it, by writing and turning the pain (or whatever emotion it may be) into a song”.

360 has struggled with addiction, depression and alcoholism (as of 2013 he is sober) as well as other things which have attributed to and accentuated his dark thoughts. This isn’t the first time he’s touched on dark subject (reference his collaboration with Seth Sentry entitled “Closer” which is about his suicidal thoughts), but it certainly provided the deepest insight he’d shared with an audience at the time.
