“A Thousand Orchids” serves as the opening track for Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s 7th studio album, HANA, an album she wrote after a trip she had in Japan, completing the trilogy of albums inspired by different trips Sophie had through different countries.

Sonically it’s one of the most experimental moments on the album.
