“Morning Routine” is an indie, alternative rock song about BENEE’s experience with receiving online hate and coping with the mental health side of this. The song reflects upon the daily things she does to progress through the week, and how she believes laughing it off, putting it in the past and ignoring it all is the best way to cope and move forward.

During the tail end of her 2022 US Tour, “Morning Routine” became a regular part of BENEE’s set, alongside “Green Honda,” and the song also appears on her second album.
