“2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)” is a synth-pop track that appears as the fourth track on Lizzo’s sophomore album, Special. Lizzo asks the question, “Am I ready… to be loved?” which could be a continuation of her 2017 smash hit “Truth Hurts”, which dealt with the confidence she found after breaking up with an unfaithful lover.

Lizzo used the track to reveal the tracklist and vinyl format in a TikTok, Instagram Post, Twitter Post and on Facebook on July 6.
