Burna Boy reunites with Ed Sheeran on “For My Hand,” a heartfelt ballad that sees the two artists singing about their respective relationships, as they ask their lovers to accept them as they are and express their gratitude for sticking with them.

On June 30, 2022, as Sheeran brought Burna Boy out during his concert at the Wembley Stadium in London, the two artists performed the song live for the first time. In the same occasion, they announced the song’s title and revealed that it would be released the following week, as part of Burna’s sixth studio album, Love, Damini. On the same day, right after the performance, the Nigerian artist confirmed the news, as the song was revealed to be the thirteenth track on the album through an Instagram story.
