As one of the most personal and vulnerable tracks she has done, “Coldplay” serves as the closing track to Lizzo’s Special. It contains a portion of “Yellow” by Coldplay, hence the name, and also samples “SUDDEN DEATH” by Quelle Chris & Chris Keys.

Lizzo opens her heart up and dedicates this song to her significant other, which she spends the whole album figuring out if she’s ready for it or not.
